Postcards Project
The Giorgia Lupi and Stefanie Posavec's Dear Data postcard project inspired it!

The members of our community live in different countries and cities. When I ordered several T-shirts with the community logo for a face-to-face meeting in St. Petersburg, I also ordered postcards with the same picture. They turned out to be cute, and Mike asked me to send him a postcard to the distant country where he is now!

I liked the idea, and the postcards flew to different places, they had different addresses and even small data arts with data about the community or the participant to whom the letter is sent!
And of course, we collect data about this project to make data art based on it later! All the names of the cities, the distances between them, and the duration of the mail — we fix everything in a file!
As soon as something interesting turns out, we will show you the projects based on this data!

Already participating:
  • Ekaterinburg
  • Omsk

Community Data-Badges
It all started with this project in 2024. The first task within the framework of the data art practice was to make data badges based on a simple dataset about the skills of community members - personal badges of each participant. What came of it, see the link!

Data-walk
In June 2024, we had the first personal meeting of the St. Petersburg branch of the community. Since the community is international, this is a very good crowding! As part of the events, Ulyana organized a data walk, during which we collected data in order to visualize them later!
